My Christmas Blessings

December has always been my favorite time of year due to the cheer and giving that it seems to bring out of people, but this year, I have struggled to make it a joyful season. Last year on December 5th, my family lost a 20 year old young man that had been like a child of my own, and a brother to my kids. Then, just 19 days later, another young man that spent lots of time with our family, age 24, also passed away suddenly. Feeling lost inside at how quickly things can change, and people can be here one day, and gone the next, I haven't felt very festive.

On December 11th, my grandson's birthday, my 23 year old niece passed away very unexpectedly, and it has taken a toll on the whole family. I celebrated my grandson's birthday during the day, and by that evening, I got "the call" that my niece was gone. I felt like my emotions were on a huge roller coaster, and I just wanted it to stop so I could think straight again.

Due to the extreme emotions this year, I didn't plan very well for Christmas, and because of that, my family was put in a bit of a tight place to have an enjoyable holiday. One of the first blessings that we received came from a friend of mine. We have known each other for years, and I babysat her children for the past 10 years or more, as needed. I consider them to be family, even though there is no blood relation. She stopped by one night just before Christmas with a pre-lit 6 foot tree, a star for the top, and decorations to put on it. She then informed me that she had picked up a couple of gifts for me to give to my children, because she knew I was struggling.

The next day, my friend was at work and was speaking with a customer about her excitement in being able to help another family with Christmas this year. Before the gentleman left her store, he handed her $100 and asked her to use it to contribute more gifts to my family, as his way of helping out as well. I was in awe when she called and asked me what other gifts she could get for my kids. I know that God saw my pain and my struggles, and He came through to make this Christmas a blessing to all of us.

Sometimes through the struggles, I find it hard to let go and give it to God, but I am thrilled to say that He already knows what we need, and when we need it.

Thank you God for sending your angels to make this Christmas a blessing to my family. We had a very Merry Christmas.

The season is upon us

I grew up believing that Christmas is not about the gifts, but rather about celebrating the birth of Christ. As a parent, besides catering to the worldly perception of Christmas, I have tried my best to pass on the significance of Christmas to my children, and now my grandchild. Christ is the reason for the season, and it is great to see how many other families celebrate His life, besides giving gifts to those around them that they love and care for.

This year has been tough financially for my family, due to unexpected medical expenses, but we are never too poor to pass on the significance of what Christmas is all about, and that is Christ.

I like to remind my children that Christmas is about giving as well, but that we should be caring and giving to others all year long, not just in one season. People have daily struggles all year long, and sometimes a simple gesture can show the love of Christ through you, just by smiling at someone, or giving some loving advice that they find helpful. If you have a way to help others, give it a try and see how great it makes you feel. It really is way better to give, than to receive. Pass this lesson on to the next generation as well, and we can all make this a better world to live in. It is all through Christ that we have the opportunities and the successes that we do.

Leadership Qualities

Today while finishing up the dishes, starting dinner, and switching loads of laundry to get a head start on a new week, it occurred to me how much being a stay at home mom is like leading my team of affiliates.

I am available all hours of every day, to assist when problems arise, answer questions that may have them stumped, and to teach strategies and tips that I have found useful in my life journey.

I do my best to lead by example, and I strive to show honesty, compassion, confidence, self-motivation, and hard work to all that I feel responsible for. These are qualities that I want to see not only as a mother, but as a team leader.

Keeping the lines of communication open is vital to success with family, as well as with your team. I want to be there to encourage and cheer them on, and always be there when they need someone to talk to. Life and business can be tricky at times, but having the support they need will go a long way in their success.

Give praise often, even if it seems like a minor feat. Positive reinforcement will bring the best out in people, and they will strive to do even better.

Parenting and marketing are both extremely difficult jobs, but with the right attitude and the devotion to see others succeed, you can make a difference in the lives of others.

Are you falling behind?

This seems to be the time of year that gets very crazy for me as a wife, mother, grandmother, and a business woman. Shopping for my family can be quite the ordeal, and definitely has a way of wearing me out. Even through the strenuous days, I still devote time every day to build my business, and keep in contact with those that need some advice or assistance in moving their business forward. I try to do so many things at once, and in the end, I feel like I am falling behind in all that I am trying to do.

My solution for all of the chaos is to make a schedule for each day, and prioritize the things that I find the most important. Obviously, I may not be able to stick to the schedule completely, but writing everything down does wonders for my weary brain.

This is a sample of my week as far as I can tell right now:

Obviously I can't always predict unexpected things that may need to be done, so I am always open to my schedule changing a bit, but the goal of writing it down is so I don't continue falling behind.

Are you falling behind, or do you have some great tips that help keep you on track?

I'd love to hear your techniques and ideas.

Do You Dare To Be Honest?

Honesty is the best policy, right?

With the many online business opportunities out there, do you dare to be completely honest about the program that you are a part of? I not only dare to be honest, but I am proud to be honest about the program that I represent, which is SFI.

Can you tell people that your program is free to join, and there is never a requirement to invest? I can. Is your company a member of the Better Business Bureau? Mine is. Has your company been in business online for over 10 years? Mine is going on it's 19th year online, and growing stronger every day.

Will SFI promise you a specific amount of money in a specific time frame? No, because we provide all the tools and training you need to build your business, but it is up to you how much you earn, based on how hard you want to work at it. We can lead the horse to water so to speak, but we can't make it drink. SFI has a program set up for success, but if you choose not to utilize the tips and techniques laid out for you, then you are sabotaging your own future.

If you are serious about making money online, and you are willing to put the work into it to earn your desired income, then I strongly urge you to join my team. I will guide you through any questions that you may have, and together, we can all be successful.

Thanksgiving

I am thankful everyday for the many blessings that God has provided in my life. I have a wonderful husband that stands by me in all that I do, while going to work every day to help provide for our family. I have four beautiful kids that have been teaching me important life lessons since the day they were born. They taught me how to love more than I ever thought was possible, and without a doubt, they have taught me a great deal of patience over the years. I feel so honored to have such a close relationship with my children, and I look forward to watching them all grow into productive adults so they too, will pass great qualities onto their children.

God provides us with a roof over our heads, a full time job for my husband, a vehicle to get us where we need to go, and food on the table, just to name a few things. Any time I start to take these things for granted, I am reminded that some people are not as fortunate, and that makes me thankful again for all that we have, and it makes me want to help others in need that much more.

I am extremely grateful that I have been able to start my own business working from home, and helping provide financially for my family. I am honored every day that someone asks me for my opinion or my assistance in their success, because I want to share this opportunity all I can so others can be as blessed as I am. While I can't financially fund anyone at this point, I am always available to anyone that needs my help.

If you are looking for a blessing in disguise, join my team and let me show you how to earn a second income to help your family as well.

Set the Tone

Setting the tone for each and every day of your life can make a drastic difference in your happiness.

When you wake up each morning, thank God that He has provided another day for you on this Earth, and know that He still has plans for your life.

We are never sure what our purpose in life is, but rest assured that God knows, and He doesn't make mistakes.

Make the decision to smile every day and do everything to the best of your ability. Sure things can and probably will go wrong throughout the day, but that doesn't have to ruin your whole day. Work through the daily struggles, and know that the struggles you deal with are making you stronger in one way or another.

Positive thoughts, no matter what you are going through, will help you have a good day, just as negative thoughts and comments can only sabotage your happiness and contentment. You can decide what kind of days you have, and it's up to you to look beyond the obstacles that you face and realize that everything happens for a reason.

Set the tone and find your inner peace.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Put your eggs in multiple baskets

I'm sure you've heard that you shouldn't put all of your eggs in one basket, but what does that really mean for affiliate marketing?

I am extremely happy with the program I have chosen to follow, but even then, I have more than one outlet making my success happen. I don't believe that joining multiple affiliate programs is the best way to conduct business, but there are other things that go along with succeeding in the program I have chosen. For instance, I advertise daily on multiple sites such as safelists, traffic exchange sites, and classifieds. Some of these sites also offer affiliate links for compensation, but you usually have to opt in to receive compensation for sending others to that site. I use these sites just to promote my original program, and I don't look for compensation even if I tell others to try the site for advertising. I take my business very seriously, and I feel like mixing in more affiliate links to promote would only take away from my primary goal.

Besides advertising sites, I also use social media, business platforms, and a personal blog to promote my offer. With so many sites available out there online, it can be difficult to prioritize when and where to place your ads.

If you place ads in multiple places online, your ads are more likely to reach more prospects. Don't cut yourself short on growing your business by sticking with one site to list your offer. Staying organized with a detailed list of your ads can help you in knowing who is seeing your ads, and what ads are more effective than others.

Put your eggs in multiple baskets so many more people will be exposed to what you have to offer.

Be Available

As an affiliate marketer, are you available to assist others that may have questions about your program?

I am in this business to succeed, but one thing I have learned is that I will never succeed if I am not willing to help others that are trying to make it in this business. Whether it is a team mate, or just a person asking for my help, I am here to help. I am learning new things every day in this business, and it is my pleasure to pass on the knowledge to whoever needs or wants it. In my opinion, this goes right along with the golden rule of "Treat others the way you want to be treated." When I come across something that I have no experience in, I look to my mentors that willingly help me get through the struggles. These people have made my business progress more than I ever thought possible, and I am a firm believer of paying it forward.

I am available many hours of every day to assist those that have questions about either my program, or affiliate marketing in general. I spend lots of time online researching the best tips and techniques that I can find, and I try to answer e-mails within 24 hours of receiving them. Even if I don't know the answer to the questions, I will search for the answer in order to further the communication and trust between myself and my followers.

Does this harm my business in any way? I don't think so. That is the beauty of running my own business-I can do it my way, and my way is to help those in need of my help.

Affiliate marketing can be a very difficult field to work in, but I love every single aspect of it. I have met so many great people that have years and years of experience, and they feel the same way I do about sharing the tools they have learned along the way. These people are my role models, and I am determined to continue helping others, no matter what information I learn.

My goal in helping others is not to make them lazy or dependent on me, but I feel like they wouldn't be asking unless they had already tried elsewhere to find the answers that they needed, and were unsuccessful, or needed more clarification on a subject. I am far from having all of the answers, but by helping others, it gives me a chance to learn even more too because I then search for the answer in order to help the one asking.

With honesty comes trust, and with trust comes great relationships. If my work can make a difference for even one person, then I have fulfilled my personal goals of passing on something that others will find useful.

If you would like to chat or have questions as to what I have learned so far, feel free to e-mail me at stillson.laura.sfi@gmail.com and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

God Bless.

Are you real?

How do you present yourself online?

Are you that faceless person that posts ads all over the internet without anyone ever really knowing who they are dealing with?

Would you trust someone that won't let you see who they are, let alone know anything about them personally?

I don't believe that you need to tell your whole life story for all to read, but the basics of who you are and what you are presenting is plenty enough information for anyone to get to know you.

With so many programs available online, presenting yours in a personal manner can be extremely helpful for your business, and it can build a much better relationship with those that you are connecting with.

Don't be a faceless name online. Upload a personal picture of yourself to make people more comfortable with who they are dealing with. Putting a name with a face is the beginning of a great relationship, and it all starts with you.

Time Management Techniques

Anybody that has a home business faces the challenges of time management everyday. Whether you have time slots set out, or you play it day by day, time management is essential making your business a success.

While some people don't do well with a structured schedule, due to things changing frequently from day to day, and sometimes even hour to hour, others need a set up time each day for their specific tasks. I am one of those people that plans for specific times to do things, but I allow for life to happen, and if things don't work out the way I want them to at a particular time, I just put it off for a later time that will work with my lifestyle and obligations.

For instance, everyday I check into my main site and complete about 15 minutes of "To-Do List" items, and I frequent the team Forum to see what others are doing in their business. I lend a hand anytime I can, and often times, just reading someone else's struggle gives me the ideas to share information that others may find useful. I also advertise daily, and I have at least 12 different sites that I use on a daily basis, and about 25 or more that I post on at least monthly to get my opportunity out there. This can all be very time consuming, but if I plan out what sites I want to post on each day, it makes things go a lot smoother.

Some traffic exchange sites or safelists that I use can be very time consuming, so I try to limit these sites to only two per day, and sending out solo ads or e-mails at least once a week. I recently decided that trying to keep things in my head and actually remembering when I should be on what site was getting to be very stressful, so I made my own spreadsheet to keep better track of things. I now have sites listed, specific links to those sites, what days I posted ads or send out e-mails, and when I want to send them out again. My goal is to add tracking numbers to this list so I know what ads are getting the most traffic, actual clicks for more information, and true sign-ups for each ad placed.

Time management is something that each and every one is going to handle differently, and as long as it is working for you, stick with it. So many times we see suggestions or techniques online from others in our field, and we automatically feel like we should be doing things their way. This isn't always the case, even though sometimes, trying something new may actually give you more time and more organization than you previously had.

When building your business, find what works for you, and stick with it, and don't be afraid to share your techniques with others that may find it helpful.

What does your agenda look like, and are you happy with the way it is going? If not, don't be afraid to try new things, and see if they work better for you.

Time management is everything when you are trying to succeed.

Have a great day!!

What is your limit?

We all have our limit, and I believe I may have reached mine today. 😜

First of all, I try to be Super Mom all the time, and I think I am driving myself crazy because of it. I have three children under the age of 18 still at home, and I have allowed them to be completely lazy, and dependent on me for way too many years now, and I am paying for that choice now, big time.

I woke up after feeling under the weather for a few days now, and I find every dish in the house dirty, and stacked not only in the sink, but all over the counters, the stove, and the kitchen table. This is the result of my spoiled, lazy children fending for themselves while I get a couple extra hours of much needed sleep. My youngest is 10 years old, so it's not like my kids can't take care of themselves for the most part, but apparently they are so used to me picking up after them, that they decide to leave the mess for me to clean up when they are done.

I put on a pot of coffee, blast my music through my Bluetooth player, and I get busy picking up the mess, while really wanting to scream and yell until I feel better...lol. Instead, I send the three kids to clean their bedrooms, and I silently struggle with the thoughts of changing the way these kids think. I know that I did this to myself, and if I don't get them to understand their responsibilities pretty quick, it may too late, and then the world is going to have three more adults that believe we all owe them something, and they don't need to work for anything they want or need.

On top of getting my house back in order, I sat at my laptop to begin working on my online business, which today, was my getaway from the reality that I was facing at home. My work is my biggest accomplishment so far in life, since apparently I am failing my children in raising them to be productive adults 😕

Writing this blog post to let everyone know my frustrations today seemed to help, even if it made me feel like I shouldn't be admitting to being imperfect. My kids and my family are my world, and everything I do is for them, but apparently I need to rethink my perspective. Although it is my joy to be a servant to my family most of the time, I guess we all have our limit, and I think mine was reached today.

What is your limit? Does it involve feeling less than perfect when trying to keep up with kids, housework, business, and life in general?

The beauty of keeping busy at all times is that when I feel like I have reached my limit, there is always housework to take my frustrations out on.

Yep, I am a far from perfect blogger, and I will always be a mom, a grandmother, and a wife that struggles to keep up with everything all at once, but without life's struggles, I think I would be bored.

Today just made me realize that I can use my frustration to accomplish so much more than I have done in the past, and I am blessed to have the family and business that I have to keep me going.

Have a great day everyone, and thanks for reading about my imperfections.

The Importance of an "About" Page

With so many options of "Work at Home" opportunities online, it can be very difficult to know if you are getting the best program available to you. Because of so many factors, an "About" page is very important for all webpages to have.

I highly suggest not only giving a run down about who you are, but let people know what you do online, and how you can help them with the problems they may be facing either in the business, or while looking to join a program.

No matter what you are offering, honesty is the number one selling point that you should be making. Misleading statements may gain you sign-ups, but if those sign-ups don't continue working with you due to mistrust of not only the product, but of you, yourself, then you have just wasted your time and theirs.

Any good offer should provide many positive points, without having to misrepresent the offer. When doing an "About" page, think about what you like the most about the program you are promoting. What sets your offer apart from others similar to it? How long has the company been in business, and what kind of reviews have been given over the years?

I, for one, think that the program I promote is the best program available online. You can sign up for free, no investment ever required, free tools and training, and you get an awesome sponsor like myself to walk you through the whole process :) Ok, so maybe you don't want to include lines such as the awesome sponsor, but you get the general idea.

What is Your Dream?

From the time we are little, we all dream about what we want to be when we get older, and we spend years building up our dreams and working on improving our goals to accomplish those dreams. As we mature, obviously our dreams change and our outlook on what is important will vary. What is your dream?

Do you dream of living in a mansion, driving a brand new BMW, and taking regular vacations in the Bahamas? Or, maybe you are less about the material items and wish to only live in a home large enough for your family without owing a dime on it, driving your 2006 Chevrolet Malibu that has been paid off for years, and taking outings with your family near your hometown, rather than visiting luxurious vacation destinations?

No matter what your dream is for your life, you have to devote yourself to never giving up that dream, and not being afraid to accept challenges in life that can make that dream come true. Having a positive attitude and pushing through life's struggles with the best of your ability, will turn your dreams into reality. I personally find my strength in God, and only with him am I able to conquer my obstacles in life.

Without dreams, you have nothing to work towards, so never stop trying to reach your personal best. Seek out a support system that you can share those dreams with, and accept the support and encouragement that such people provide. Stay away from negative attitudes as much as possible, because they will steal away your joy and can cause you to lose your motivation.

We are all God's children, and He wants us to have the best of everything in life. Will you have struggles along the way? Of course you will, because without struggles, you would never need to turn to Him.

I hope you have a blessed day and dare to dream.

My SFI Techniques

Since I started at SFI, I have tried my best to take things slowly, and learn all that I can in order to succeed. Part of what I have read is that too many people make SFI harder than it needs to be, usually because they want instant gratification, or a large commission every month for doing very little work.

First of all, logging in EVERY day and completing your “To-Do List” is a huge step in the right direction. Why anyone would think that SFI should pay a monthly commission for doing these things is beyond me. It literally takes 15 minutes per day to complete these tasks, and SFI rewards you with VersaPoints, even though they are giving you all of the tools and training that you need to succeed. I consider this extremely generous of them, and since I don't work for SFI, but I am trying to build my own online business, this is the least I can do to show my devotion to building my own business.

Since my first month here, I chose to purchase a standing order of 125 TCredits for $36.25 per month, and I was willing to do odd jobs during the month to cover the costs that I was putting into my business. Sometimes I babysat for one weekend a month, and earned way more than what I was spending on my standing order, and other times I would go and mow a couple of small yards and return pop bottles, and I was still coming out ahead of what I was spending.

I also chose to purchase a domain name from GoDaddy for under $10.00 for the year, and their tech support helped me so that I had a creative name, but whenever someone goes to that website, it automatically redirects them to the SFI home page. Once I had my personal site set up, I did a Google search and found hundreds of different places that I could advertise at, all at no cost. I then spent approximately an hour per day placing ads on various websites, and I let the sign-ups begin rolling in.

Even though I was brand new to SFI, I started immediately trying to guide my team to do exactly what I was doing. Any time a question would arise from the few that would actually ask them, I would search for the answers and get back to them immediately. I learned so much just by searching for information for my team, as well as searching for the answers to the SFI “Biz Quiz” answers. This is all invaluable information and I am very thankful for all of the support and training provided by SFI and all of the great members on the “Forum”.

I figure that I spend a minimum of 90 TCredits per month (3 TCredits per day) doing my listed actions. I play Card King 2 times a day for free, and then I spend just 1TC to play it a third time. I have tried the other games and I'm not very good at them, so I just stick with what works for me. Once I exit Card King, I then spend 1 TC to play "Pick a Price". After completing these tasks, my "EZ" tab is now green and I move onto the "PB" tab. Every time I bid on an auction, I choose something that will help build my business if I win, and I only play the double points (DP) auctions so that I receive 10 MRP rather than just 5 on other auctions.

The auctions come into play because once I have bid 10 times, I earn a spin to build up to a full PSA from the "Bid & Build" on the sideline. In a typical month, I earn at least 2 PSA's from using this bonus. I also keep a close eye on my MRP throughout the month, and once I have 126 MRP or higher, I then use the MRP to purchase 1 TC at TripleClicks and earn 102 VersaPoints for each one that I purchase.

Another great way to earn VP is to play the "T-Time" numerous times per day. I enter every single hour that I am anywhere near my computer, and I win 2 TC multiple times per week using this method.

Every week I am either winning "T-Time", "Daily Grand", "Daily Crown", or "E365 Daily Drawing". It is such a great feeling to receive an e-mail telling me that I have won something from one of the many contests that SFI offers every day. In my opinion, this is also very generous since I am here to build a business for myself, and I am being given different useful items all the time to help me along the way.

For the first four months that I was here, I earned a commission each month, but not enough to cover my standing order, so I used what I did make and I purchased small items from TripleClicks. I bought some great e-books, some headphones for my son, and other little items that I found interesting, and I was able to earn VP on all of it.

As my time here goes on, my life seems even crazier, and I will admit that I haven't done nearly as much as I could with my SFI business, but I am maintaining my daily login activities, and I am keeping my current ads running. Even with such small effort on my part, I am maintaining my standing order and my commissions are covering every cent that I put into my business, and then some. This business works, and you decide how much you want to make depending on the time and effort that you are willing to put into it.

There are still so many other ways to earn VP, and to get sales or sign-ups, and I have just now begun to scratch the surface of attempting to make sales. Every article you read, and every tip that you receive could be the piece of advice that will allow you to get your business of the ground.

Don't get discouraged, get tough and determined! Your attitude and approach can make or break you!

Have a great day everyone!

Presentation is Everything

Whether you are e-mailing a potential customer, or placing your ads on traffic exchange sites, you must remember to spell check the entire message. This morning, I ran across a “professional ad” that was running on one of the popular traffic exchange sites, and I had to laugh out loud when I saw the wording that was presented for the offer.

It don't cost you nothing to join!” All I could think was what kind of idiot is trying to promote this offer, and why would I follow anything that they are doing? I suppose I shouldn't be so judgmental, because this may have been a translator issue, but it reminded me of someone misspelling words in Christmas lights. Just imagine the reaction of people seeing “Mary Krismis” made up fancy with Christmas lights around your home, and what they must think of the person that lives there, due to their spelling errors. Most people will not take your message seriously when there are obvious errors in presenting your message.

It's sad to say, but in this world, presentation is everything. Double check the things you are trying to say, and make sure they don't make you appear uneducated. Besides wording, what about the pictures that you choose to send along with your messages? Are you using a picture of a slot machine to enlist people to your MLM business? In my opinion, this only gives the impression that signing up is a gamble, and therefore, I would never join, even if it was the best opportunity out there. Do you use pictures of piles of $100 bills to catch the attention of others? How likely is anybody going to end up with piles of $100 bills if they join you right now? None, unless they go into your offer with lots of money to begin with. I feel like the pictures and wording that you use to enlist people should be honest, and present the offer in a realistic way, so you are not misleading people who will sign up, and quit shortly after, once they realize they were misled.

Get creative with your advertising and make the best presentation that you can, without misleading anyone to join your team. Building trust right from the beginning will help you build a stronger team of affiliates, and will in turn create more success for you in the future.

My MoneyLine

Since I am so new to internet marketing, I try my best to look for all free advertising. Suddenly, I was talking to one of the new marketing friends that I have met online and I work with in other places, and they told me about MoneyLine. The cost to me was $20 to start, and everyone that signs up after I do is in my MoneyLine. This means, I can send messages or ads to each and every one of them, one time, unless they initiate a conversation back to me, and then the communication is unlimited.

I joined by paying the $20 one time fee, and I have literally sent ads to over 8000 people that are in my MoneyLine. On average, my MoneyLine grows by over 200 every 24 hours, so for the $20 investment, I am able to continually send advertisements for various links to every one that signs up under me....forever!

Many different people have money making opportunities to offer here, and many of them are very helpful for any internet marketer. Like I said, I mainly stick with free advertising until I get the hang of marketing online, but this has been the best investment that I believe I could have made.

If you want to boost your leads and offer your opportunity to unlimited amounts of people, sign up here:

Leased Ad Space

Cheap! Cheap! Cheap!

I guess you could say that I am an internet marketer that is trying to make it by spending as little of my own money as possible. I found LeasedAdSpace through another trusted connection of mine, and I decided to sign up and spend $7 for sending out 8000 banner ads, 4000 text ads, a solo e-mail every 28 days, and a permanent text ad that will always be in the LeasedAdSpace classified ads directory.

Different levels give you choices as to how many ads you want seen, as well as how often your solo ads can be sent, and you can increase your ad packages as you feel the need to increase your leads.

Personally, I have only spent the $7 one time, as this package does not renew monthly, but once it runs out, you must opt for the next higher package. My package ran all of the promised ads that I was given, and it also gave me quite a few leads in the time my ads were running, but I am waiting to increase package levels currently because I still have a solo e-mail that can be sent out every 28 days, as well as a text ad that will permanently be in their classified ads directory.

My next ad package will still only cost me $17, but I will get 12000 banner ads, 6000 text ads, a solo e-mail ad every 14 days, and 2 permanent ads in the classified ads directory.

Not too shabby for all of the advertising that it gives you. Join me here:

Do You Want Duplication Within Your Team?

We have all heard it said that duplication is what will build a strong team, but are we all doing what we can to make our teams great?

Advertising is the number one step in building your team because if you don't advertise this opportunity, nobody will know it is available. So, are you advertising daily, or weekly, or even monthly? If you don't take the time and effort to advertise, what makes you think that your team would advertise?

Do you log in every day and complete your “To Do List”? With any commitment to your business, you should be able to log in daily, and take the 15 minutes that is required to complete at least your “To Do List”. Are you using your Stream posts for leading your team, or are you just posting anything for the VP that you can earn? How about your Leadership page? Is it set up so that new affiliates can see who you are, what you are doing, and how to go about succeeding here? All of these things will make or break your team as far as them duplicating you. Do you visit the Forum regularly and answer questions that may help another affiliate? Are you reading everyday and searching for training materials that maybe you have read, but need a refresher course on them? Never stop learning!!!!!

Besides my Standing Order for 125 TCredits, I also purchase individual TCredits throughout the month so I am never left without the 3 TCredits per day that I use to play a game, put a price on a PickThePrice future auction, and bid on a PriceBenders auction. I go for all Double Points (DP) auctions at PriceBenders, and I earn 10 MRP for each bid, and I keep a close eye on the Bid and Build game to the right, allowing me to spin for a chance at earning a PSA. Some weeks I choose to spend extra TCredits just to gain the 10 MRP for bidding, and in return, I have gained quite a few PSA's through the Bid and Build option. As soon as I have 126 MRP, I purchase a single TCredit so that I gain 102 VP to add to my Versa Points for the month.

I also buy many items from TripleClicks, such as post cards to send to potential ECA's, Wave3 post cards, an SFI hat, items for my new puppy, and most recently, a new wireless mouse for my computer. The price for the items that will help me advertise my business are extremely cost effective, even if I only get one sign-up by sending them out. I wear my SFI hat every time I am having a bad hair day, and I have had many opportunities to hand out my business cards when someone asks me what SFI is for on my hat. Perfect chance to explain the business, and also hand out some of my materials.

My next advertising venture is going to be placing fliers on every pizza box that goes out from our local pizza joint. I have yet to figure out the exact amount that would make it work with my advertising budget, but at least it is in the talking stages as of now.

Internet advertising is great, but in reality, how many of us are listed through the same Traffic Exchange sites, or Safelists? At this point, I think I prefer more personal advertising, and handing out materials while being able to answer any questions when I offer the opportunity. Obviously, advertising is widespread, and everyone will have a chosen method that works best for them, so don't be afraid to try out different techniques to gain sign-ups or to make sales.

As a team leader, I want to share my techniques with everyone so that we can all become successful. Since SFI is worldwide, the chances of two people advertising in the exact same place are very small, but if we can all learn from others, we can all climb to the top and make the best of our business.

If you want to build a great business that makes you lots of money, then don't be afraid to put continuous time and effort into making it the best that it can be. The tools and materials are all here for you, but it is up to you as to how you use them.

Choose to build something great and watch your team duplicate your moves.

Check out SFI for yourself, and see how duplication can make you money.

The Greatest Reasons to Join SFI

In order to build a team, you first need to advertise the opportunity that you are offering. With SFI, we are given a legit business opportunity that allows us to run our own business, but in our own way. What good would your business be if it was the exact same as all of your affiliates? We need to customize not only the way we portray what we have to offer, but how we conduct our business. There are so many marketing tools available to us, and if we use many different ones to advertise, we can reach all kinds of people. Take into consideration what marketing methods SFI also gives you. Whether you are a beginner, or an advanced marketer, they offer many options to assist you in your business. Utilize the internet, word of mouth, as well as business cards or post cards to gain new teammates.

With so many ways to earn in SFI, you are going to meet people that are interested in totally different ways to earn. Some will be great at building their team of affiliates, while others will prefer to sell items at TripleClicks. Some may even just be interested in playing Eager Zebra games and bidding at the PriceBenders auctions. No matter what they choose to use as their primary contribution to your team, cherish them. Your team NEEDS every single person that is on it, and you should do everything you can to help them succeed.

I am a firm believer that if you keep your workers happy, they will be happy to work harder for your team. Communicate regularly to see how your teammates are doing, and if there is anything that you can possibly help them with. Many times it is a simple question or misunderstanding that once answered, will put them back on track to building their business and contributing to your team. No matter how many times that same question has been asked in the Forum, give them an actual answer, and then include a link where they can find the information that you have shared with them. Be personable, and you will have the trust and respect of those affiliates.

Depending on how you word your responses, you can either motivate, or totally turn your team off to working with you. No question is a bad question, if the person asking is unsure of the answer. Don't ever assume that just because you are knowledgeable in one area, that all others are too. Speak to people the way you would want to be spoken to.

Advertise daily if you can, or at the least, advertise weekly. Nobody will know what they are missing if you don't put the word out there. Let everyone know about this great opportunity known as SFI.

Marketing Isn't Easy

With hundreds of ways to market a product or idea, I have found that just because the options are available to use, marketing isn't easy. I have been researching new ways to market some of my products, and I have joined many advertising sites to do so, but I have to admit that it is a daily struggle to find people that are as serious about making money online, as I am.

Sure, I get new sign-ups regularly, and sometimes they may even give me a day or two of commitment, but the majority of people looking for work online are really just looking for free money to start filling up their bank accounts, without ever having to do any real work. It frustrates me to see how many people actually think that any opportunity is going to GIVE them free money. What happened to the old time work ethic? Does our society honestly think that because we have the technology to work from home that we must only log into a site in order to receive an income? It is no wonder that it is so difficult to convince someone that the opportunity you are offering them is not a "Get rich quick scheme".

There are so many schemes on the internet, it is many times very difficult to trust any opportunity. Let me begin by telling you that schemes will promise you specific amounts of money, basically for doing nothing, and they usually will ask you to invest money before they will tell you their "Secrets". As a general rule, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.

Like so many others, I too have fallen victim to schemes promising unlimited amounts of money online, without doing anything to earn that money. It all sounds so good, and the promises of unlimited riches are so appealing to someone that really needs to make some money, and unfortunately, only these schemes make any money :(

I joined SFI after being burned many times, and I was extremely cautious about what surprise they were going to throw at me, that would make me another scheme victim. Well, it was free to join, all training materials and support are available and free to use any time, and the plan for earning is laid out for you, right from the get go. The founder of SFI himself, suggests that you take a minimum of six months to learn the program, and get comfortable with promoting your products and business opportunity. He tells you to expect struggles and sometimes failure, before you reach success. This is exactly what I wanted to hear. No gimmicks, no sales pitch, just honest work ethic that will be required to earn a healthy income.

Needless to say, I was sold on this idea for making money online. I can take all the time I want to learn the business, be my own boss, all while working from home and tending to my family's needs and my physical disability.

If you have also been burned by internet schemes, and you want to work hard to make money online, check out my site at myfortunesolution.com
and join my team. I will guide you every step of the way.

So even though marketing isn't easy, my hope is that there are still people in this world that believe in working for what you want. I want success, and I will work hard and dedicate whatever time is needed to succeed, and I want to help you too.

Advertise Your Business For FREE

There are so many ways to advertise your business for FREE, by using the internet to do so. Like with any other successful marketing techniques, it will require consistency, and lots of dedicated hard work on your part. You have to make up your mind that you are going to do something for your business, every single day, and advertising will definitely get the word out about the product or service you are offering.

Start by typing key words into “Google” or “Yahoo” search, and go through the unlimited list of places that will provide you with FREE advertising. Some of the key words that you can use are:
  • “Make Money Forums”
  • “Home based business blogs, forums, classifieds, articles, and traffic exchanges”
  • “Free Classifieds”
  • “Work at Home Discussion Groups”
  • “Free Work at Home Classified Ads”
  • “Home Business Newsgroups”
  • “Online Income Blogs”
And the list goes on and on...Just swap the words around, and find all sorts of different places to post your free ads. I would suggest that instead of going through the list starting on page one, you go to page three or four of your results, so that you are not listing on all the same sites that others are using when doing similar searches.

Many sites will offer multiple cities or states that you can post ads to, so use as many different locations as you can that will fit your service area. You can do duplicate ads, but they will be offered in many locations, allowing multiple people the same opportunity to use your product or service.

Missed Opportunity

I spent the weekend walking the streets of my small home town visiting different vendors, testing some great local foods, and walking the grounds of the local carnival with my family. I even rode at the front of a float for a parade on Saturday morning, and while children were handing out candy to other kids as we passed, the adults were passing out business cards for the organization that I was representing in the parade.

In all of the excitement of getting everybody ready to go, and making sure we had enough snacks, drinks, and sunscreen for my crew of kids, I forgot all of my fliers, business cards, and postcards that I had intended to hand out to advertise the opportunity of working at home with the legit business that I have found.

I couldn't be more disappointed in myself, since I looked forward to this weekend for months now, with the intention of spreading the word about TripleClicks, and hopefully meeting some great new people that might be interested in joining me in SFI. My goal now is to make up for the missed opportunity by working extra hard this week, and I plan on visiting the local businesses that had sidewalk sales with some great products, and now I will be keeping a bag of recruitment supplies in my truck so I won't miss out on another great opportunity.

Moral of this story: Don't let a missed opportunity get you down....Try, and then try again!

Creative Marketing Ideas

Many people ask how to market their product or idea, and the answer isn't exactly a straight forward response. There are so many different ways that can all bring different results, and each one depends on what the promoter is willing to try. I have put together a list of some helpful ways to market, as well as some rather creative ideas that maybe you have not thought to try before.

Fliers:
  • Hand them out at large venues by placing them under windshield wipers of cars.
  • Hang on bulletin boards in stores, unemployment offices, daycare centers, preschools, colleges, bus depots, airports, gas stations, public assistance offices, etc.
  • Hand out fliers at flea markets, pass them out at yard or garage sales, ask second hand clothing stores to include fliers in the bag with each person's purchase, or make a deal with your local pizza joint to include a flyer on each box that goes out, in return for you promoting their business on your website.

Business Cards:

  • Make up your own business cards, or order a bundle from VistaPrint for under $10.00 for 50 cards, and hand them out to friends, family, co-workers, put them on local bulletin boards, and place them in the pages of self help books at your local bookstore, leave one in a cab, on a bus, a plane, a train, etc.

Pens:

  • Order pens with your website link on them and leave them at stores, gas stations, doctor's offices, banks, and any other place where people often need a pen.

Car Magnets:

  • Order a car magnet with your personal business link shown in bold, colorful letters and place it on the back of your vehicle and/or on both sides so that when people are stopped near your vehicle, they can easily remember your link.

Other Ideas:

  • Have refrigerator magnets printed and mail them out to anyone that signs up for your newsletters.
  • Pass out a goody bag with refrigerator magnet, pen, notepad, and key chain at job fairs, school functions, night clubs, and social events.
  • Purchase flower seed packets and attach a note card saying something like, “Grow a Second Income”, or “Grow Your Retirement Fund”, and place your link for others to see.
  • Make up yard signs to place in your front yard, or place them on street corners with your business link shown in bold, colorful letters.
  • Have T-Shirts or Sweatshirts made up with your business website link on them and wear them while going to concerts, carnivals, flea markets, or even while shopping in the mall.
I hope this list has given you some ideas to try as you attempt to market your product. If you have any other great ideas that can be added to this list, I welcome your thoughts so they can be shared with others.
